Machine model (MM) ≥ ±200V
What is ESD? What are the advantages?
ESD stands for Electrostatic Discharge. It is a charge transfer phenomenon caused by objects with different electrostatic potentials coming into close proximity or direct contact. The following is a detailed description of ESD and the ESD protection used in the Dothinkey F22MAX Image Frame Grabber:
Principle of ESD
Frictional electric charge: When two different material objects come into contact and separate, due to the atomic structure of the different materials and the different binding capacity of electrons, the surface of the object produces an electric charge. For example, when a person walks, the sole of the shoe rubs against the ground, which can cause a static electric charge on the human body.
Induction: When a charged body approaches another uncharged conductor, due to electrostatic induction, a redistribution of charge within the conductor is produced, so that the conductor near the side of the charged body with the opposite side of the charged body and away from the side of the charged body with the charged body with the same charge, thus forming an electrostatic field.
